UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Kurv Investment Management has launched the Kurv Equity Option Income ETF (KEO), an actively managed fund-of-funds ETF that primarily invests in Kurv’s own option-income ETFs. The fund seeks to generate income and total return by allocating across ETFs that use covered calls, option spreads, collars, protective puts, and other derivatives-based strategies tied to individual stocks, equity portfolios, commodities, and fixed income markets. KEO uses both quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine allocations and may invest directly in securities and derivatives when appropriate. The ETF is designed to provide diversified exposure to option-income strategies while maintaining at least 80% of assets in equity-related investments.
