The iShares Enhanced Large Cap Growth Active ETF is designed to outperform while maintaining low tracking error to the Russell 1000 Growth Index. BlackRock will use proprietary quantitative return-forecast models to identify potential stock mispricing and systematically overweight or underweight companies versus the benchmark while controlling incremental risk. At least 80% of assets will target large-cap growth equities or related derivatives. The actively-managed fund may also invest outside the benchmark, participate in IPOs and hold convertible securities, while using futures, options, swaps and forwards. It expects to concentrate in technology-related industries and will be non-diversified.
