Hashdex is liquidating its $41m Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETP (HASH) and $3m Crypto Momentum Factor ETP (HAMO) in Europe on Sept. 11, while also closing its $40m US-listed Hashdex Bitcoin ETF. The $866m crypto manager has cut most of its US and European workforce, primarily sales roles, amid a crypto downturn that has pressured specialist issuers’ fee revenues. Hashdex is not exiting either market and will continue serving professional investors, while increasingly focusing on its growing Latin American business. Its $432m US-listed HDEX remains unaffected.
