Guardian Capital Cuts GuardBonds ETF Management Fees by 25%

Goldman Sachs has reclassified its Technology Opportunities ETF from a diversified to a non-diversified fund following shareholder approval on October 30, 2026. Effective immediately, the change removes the fund’s fundamental diversification restrictions under the Investment Company Act of 1940, allowing it to allocate larger portions of its assets to individual companies or concentrate investments among fewer issuers. The increased flexibility could enable the fund to take larger positions in high-conviction technology holdings, although it also introduces greater concentration risk. As a result, the ETF may become more vulnerable to company-specific developments, with adverse performance from a single major holding potentially having a greater impact on overall returns.
