UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Global X Japan listed the Global X Korea Semiconductor Top 10 ETF (633A) on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, marking its first ETF dedicated solely to Korean semiconductor companies. The fund invests through Mirae Asset’s Korea-listed TIGER Semiconductor Top 10 ETF and tracks the yen-converted FnGuide Semiconductor Top 10 Index. Samsung Electronics and SK hynix each carry 25% index weights, with eight other Korean chip-related companies comprising the balance. Rebalanced in April and October, the ETF gives Japanese investors targeted exposure to Korea’s AI, memory and HBM semiconductor ecosystem.
