UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
FullerThaler launched the Behavioral Growth ETF (FTG), applying its behavioral-finance research to U.S. growth stocks. The actively managed fund seeks to capitalize on investor underreaction to positive developments such as earnings surprises, improving fundamentals and analyst estimate revisions. FTG expects to focus primarily on mid-cap companies while retaining flexibility to own large caps, REITs and ETFs. Holdings are generally sold when perceived mispricing reverses or fundamentals weaken, with the portfolio initially targeting risk characteristics similar to the Russell MidCap Growth Index.
