UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
First Trust has launched three actively managed Single Stock Target Income ETFs: FT Vest TSLA & Target Income ETF (XVTS), FT Vest AAPL & Target Income ETF (XVAP) and FT Vest NVDA & Target Income ETF (XVNV). The funds combine exposure to Tesla, Apple and Nvidia, respectively, with options-based income strategies and target annual distributions about 15% above the S&P 500’s dividend yield, paid monthly. They use dividends, Treasury interest, box spreads and weekly call options to generate income, while sacrificing some potential stock-price upside.
