UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
ARK Invest has launched the ARK Active Autocallable Income ETF (ARKY) on Cboe BZX, marking its first income-focused strategy. ARKY uses 25–50 single-stock autocallable positions referencing companies from ARK’s innovation universe, seeking to harvest their elevated volatility for income. Sub-adviser SCG Asset Management actively adjusts strikes, maturities and payoff structures to balance distributions against NAV erosion. The ETF targets a 17.5% coupon and uses 50–60% coupon barriers, bringing a structured-note-style strategy into a daily-liquid ETF.
