DBMF Managed Futures ETF Surpasses $5 Billion in Assets

The iMGP DBi Managed Futures Strategy ETF (DBMF) surpassed $5 billion in assets as of September 18, 2026, roughly three years after crossing $1 billion. iM Global Partner describes it as the largest managed futures ETF by assets. Launched in 2019, DBMF uses a multifactor model to seek to replicate the returns of large commodity trading adviser hedge funds through roughly 10 liquid futures contracts, with weekly rebalancing. The fund returned 23.07% in 2022, when both U.S. stocks and investment grade bonds declined. According to the issuer, its annualized return since inception was 9.32% through August 31, 2026. The gross expense ratio is 0.85%. The asset milestone shows the scale DBMF has reached as advisers add managed futures to portfolios; its 2022 result is one calendar year and does not establish how the strategy will perform in future market declines.
