BondBloxx Emerging Markets Bond ETF (XEMD) Surpasses $1 Billion in Assets

BondBloxx has announced that its JP Morgan USD Emerging Markets 1-10 Year Bond ETF (XEMD) has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, four years after its launch. The milestone contributes to BondBloxx's broader growth to more than $8.5 billion in total assets. XEMD provides exposure to U.S. dollar-denominated emerging market sovereign bonds with maturities between one and ten years, eliminating direct local currency exposure while targeting lower interest rate sensitivity than broader emerging market bond strategies. The portfolio spans multiple economies, including commodity exporters, nearshoring beneficiaries and countries with close ties to the European Union. BondBloxx highlighted the strategy's potential to generate income and diversify fixed income portfolios amid elevated inflation uncertainty and shifting interest rates.
