UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Daiwa Asset Management has launched the iFreeETF German Government 0-3 Month Bill (613A) on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, offering investors exposure to ultra-short-term German government securities. The ETF tracks the Solactive German Government 0-3 Month Bill Index, which focuses on high-quality euro-denominated bills with up to three months remaining maturity and is rebalanced daily. The fund is designed as a liquid, transparent cash-management tool while also providing euro currency exposure. The launch marks the first collaboration between Daiwa and Solactive, expanding access for Japanese investors seeking defensive fixed-income allocations and greater global portfolio diversification.
