UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
CSOP Asset Management has listed the CSOP KOSPI 200 Covered Call Active ETF (3537.HK) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, offering exposure to the KOSPI 200 through futures while generating income by selling call options. The ETF targets monthly distributions funded primarily by option premiums and aims to provide partial downside cushioning versus holding the index outright. The launch comes amid strong demand for covered call strategies, with Hong Kong-listed covered call ETFs attracting HKD22.6 billion in net inflows this year. CSOP positions the fund as a professionally managed, income-focused solution for investors seeking yield and portfolio resilience in Korea’s volatile equity market.
