UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
BMO and REX Shares have launched two MicroSectors™ exchange-traded notes providing amplified exposure to the semiconductor sector: the 3× Long Semiconductor ETN (SMHU) and the -3× Short Semiconductor ETN (SMHD). The products seek to deliver three times the daily performance, positive or negative, of the VettaFi Semiconductor Fund-Tracking Index, which tracks the VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH). Designed for sophisticated investors, the ETNs use daily leverage and reset mechanisms, making them tactical trading tools rather than long-term investments. The notes began trading on Cboe BZX and expand the range of leveraged and inverse products available for expressing bullish or bearish views on the semiconductor industry.
