ARK Proposes Tokenized Market Infrastructure ETF With Crypto Exposure

ARK Investment Management has filed for the ARK Tokenized Market Infrastructure ETF, targeting companies building financial infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets and blockchain-based capital markets. The actively managed strategy will focus on tokenization platforms, stablecoin issuers, digital asset exchanges, brokerages, custodians and settlement networks. Notably, the fund may obtain indirect exposure to Ether, Solana and other blockchain-native digital assets through total return swaps referencing U.S.-listed cryptocurrency exchange-traded products. However, the proposed ETF will not directly hold cryptocurrencies or those exchange-traded products, distinguishing its approach from conventional spot crypto funds.
