Allspring Global Investments has filed for the Allspring AI Infrastructure Bond ETF, an actively managed strategy investing at least 80% of net assets in debt exposure tied to AI infrastructure. Its scope spans AI developers, chipmakers, data centers, cloud networks, power generation and cooling systems. The fund could allocate up to 30% of total assets to below-investment-grade debt, 30% to securitized debt and 20% to foreign issuers. Security selection would combine fundamental credit research with relative-value analysis, alongside thematic allocation and duration adjustments. The non-diversified fund would offer a credit-based route into AI investment, with concentrated exposure to industries financing its expansion.
