UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
XFunds has launched the Fitz-Gerald Must Have Portfolio® and Options Overlay ETF (FIZY), an actively managed ETF that combines a thematic equity strategy with options-based income generation. The fund seeks current income through options strategies while investing in companies selected using Keith Fitz-Gerald’s proprietary “Must Have Portfolio®” framework, developed over more than four decades of research. FIZY focuses on businesses positioned to benefit from long-term structural trends across five key themes—Digitalization, Defense, Diffusion, Distribution, and Dislocation. By pairing thematic stock selection with an options overlay, the ETF aims to provide investors with both income potential and exposure to enduring economic and technological shifts.
