UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
VanEck has launched the MSCI EM Analyst Sentiment ETF (VEEM) on Nasdaq, offering a rules-based approach to emerging-market equities based on changes in sell-side analyst outlooks. Its index scores stocks using revisions to earnings, sales, cash flow, price targets and buy/sell recommendations, then selects 100 companies while controlling country, sector and security exposures. Rebalanced quarterly, the strategy targets excess returns while limiting expected tracking error versus the MSCI Emerging Markets Index to 4%. VEEM complements VanEck’s recently launched developed-markets counterpart, VEFA.
