Tuttle Capital Launches Nasdaq-100 Income ETF With Daily Downside Hedge

Tuttle Capital Management has launched the Tuttle Capital Innovation 100 Income and Hedge ETF (QQDH) on Cboe, combining Nasdaq-100 exposure with options-based income generation and daily downside hedging. The actively managed ETF primarily invests in the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) or related options, while selling put credit spreads to generate income without writing covered calls that limit upside potential. QQDH also employs short-dated put ratio backspreads, reset each trading day, to help offset losses during sharp market declines. The fund targets weekly distributions, although payments are not guaranteed and may include return of capital. Its annual expense ratio is 0.95%. Unlike traditional covered-call income ETFs, QQDH seeks to preserve uncapped upside exposure, although its options strategies can generate losses and its daily hedges may prove ineffective during gradual market declines.
