Korea Exchange Opens Extended Trading, ETFs Remain Excluded
The Korea Exchange has launched its new after-hours market, extending real-time trading from 4 p.m.
TMX Group has completed its acquisition of Cboe Australia, advancing its strategy to expand internationally and strengthen its presence in Asia-Pacific. The exchange will be renamed TMX Australia Exchange and continue operating as a securities trading venue for brokers and investors. The transaction was part of the broader US$300 million agreement announced in April 2026 covering both Cboe Australia and Cboe Canada. TMX said the deal enhances its global capital markets platform by combining trading, listings, and market data capabilities across Canada and Australia. The separate acquisition of Cboe Canada remains pending regulatory approvals and is expected to close at a later date.
