Simplify Files for Four ETFs Combining Equities, Bonds and Managed Futures

Simplify Asset Management has filed to launch four actively managed ETFs combining existing strategies across equities, fixed income and managed futures through derivatives. The proposed Simplify Aggregate Bond PLUS Managed Futures Funds ETF combines the Simplify Aggregate Bond ETF (AGGH) with the Simplify Managed Futures Strategy ETF (CTA), while the Simplify Global Equity PLUS Managed Futures Funds ETF pairs CTA with the Simplify Affinity World Leaders ETF (WLDR). The Simplify Global Equity PLUS Aggregate Bond ETF combines WLDR with AGGH, while the Simplify US Equity PLUS Aggregate Bond ETF pairs AGGH with the Simplify US Equity Income ETF (SPUC). The funds will primarily obtain exposure through total return swaps rather than directly holding the underlying ETFs. The underlying strategies offer distinct approaches. AGGH focuses on investment-grade bonds with derivative overlays designed to hedge risk or generate income, although exposure to lower-rated debt is permitted. CTA employs trend-following strategies, taking long and short futures positions across currencies, interest rates, equities and commodities based on momentum signals. WLDR tracks a developed-market equity strategy selecting companies based on earnings quality, improving fundamentals, price momentum and valuations, while SPUC invests primarily in US equities with an options overlay. Simplify will determine allocations based on market opportunities and implementation efficiency, with no fixed allocation targets specified for the Global Equity PLUS funds. The funds may also hold Treasury securities, money market funds and other short-term instruments as collateral. All four are classified as non-diversified funds, allowing greater concentration in individual issuers. The filings do not specify tickers, expense ratios or launch dates.
