REX Shares has filed to launch eight leveraged ETFs offering twice the daily performance of equally weighted baskets of three companies each, targeting major Asian players across semiconductors, defense, electronics, power infrastructure, and shipbuilding. The proposed funds cover memory chipmakers Kioxia, Samsung Electronics, and SK hynix; defense companies Hanwha Aerospace, Korea Aerospace Industries, and Hyundai Rotem; electronic component manufacturers Murata, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Taiyo Yuden; and semiconductor equipment makers Tokyo Electron, Advantest, and Disco. Additional baskets focus on Japanese cable manufacturers Fujikura, Sumitomo Electric, and Furukawa Electric; Korean electrical equipment companies HD Hyundai Electric, Hyosung Heavy Industries, and LS Electric; energy infrastructure firms Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and Doosan Enerbility; and Korean shipbuilders HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, Hanwha Ocean, and Samsung Heavy Industries. The funds would use derivatives to pursue 200% daily exposure, with returns over longer periods potentially diverging from twice the underlying baskets' performance. Tickers and listing exchanges have not yet been specified.
