UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Schroders has launched the Schroder Europe Equity Active UCITS ETF and Schroder Japan Equity Active UCITS ETF, expanding its regional active ETF lineup. Both funds use a value-and-quality approach and are managed by the firm’s Quantitative Equity Products team. The Europe fund is benchmarked to the MSCI Europe Index, while the Japan fund tracks performance against the MSCI Japan Index. Initial listings are on Xetra, with London, Milan and SIX Swiss Exchange listings to follow. Schroders’ UCITS ETF assets have reached $3.7 billion since launching the range in 2025.
