Roundhill Launches Long-Term Leveraged S&P 500 ETF Targeting 10,000

Roundhill Investments has launched the Roundhill S&P 500 Target 10,000 2030 ETF (XX) on Cboe, offering option-based leveraged exposure to the S&P 500 over a multi-year horizon. The fund invests in long-dated call options targeting an implied S&P 500 strike level of 10,000 with expirations in January 2030. Unlike daily-reset leveraged ETFs, XX does not rebalance exposure each day, so returns depend more on where the index finishes over the defined target period than on the path taken along the way. The structure seeks to capture amplified upside if the S&P 500 rises toward or beyond 10,000, while limiting maximum loss to the amount invested. When the current period ends in January 2030, Roundhill plans to roll the strategy into new call options tied to a fresh target level and date.
