UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
REX Shares has launched the REX Defensive Autocallable Income ETF (DACL), offering exposure to a laddered portfolio of synthetic autocallable contracts. The strategy adds a new contract each trading day, with individual positions capped at 2.5%, creating exposure across different strike dates, observation periods and maturities. Contracts can generate coupons when predefined barriers are met and incorporate a downside risk buffer, while the reference index dynamically adjusts equity exposure using a volatility target. DACL’s systematic laddering aims to diversify timing risk while providing an income-oriented, defensive approach to equity market exposure.
