Touchstone Plans to Convert Large-Cap Growth Mutual Fund Into ETF
Touchstone plans to convert its Dynamic Large Cap Growth Fund from a mutual fund into a newly created ETF through a tax-free reorganization expected around January 22, 2027.
REX has filed for an extensive lineup of Alpha Sports ETFs offering exposure to the performance of every MLB and NHL team, with both standard and 2x leveraged versions. The non-leveraged BaseballShares and HockeyShares funds would primarily use futures tied to team-specific CME FSPI indexes administered by FutureSports. The indexes translate official game statistics—including runs, hits, home runs, strikeouts, goals, saves, penalties and wins—into financial benchmarks, while incorporating seasonal and postseason achievements. Each index begins the season at 7,500 and resets annually, with statistical and milestone constituents during postseason games receiving a 1.5x adjustment. The 2x ETFs would seek 200% of the daily performance of their corresponding standard ETFs, primarily through swaps that are rebalanced daily. The standard funds may also use swaps, options and Cayman subsidiaries, while offseason futures can move with expectations around roster changes, injuries and team prospects. The products are tied to athletic performance rather than team finances and would not invest directly in prediction markets or event contracts.
