UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
National Bank Investments (NBI) has launched five new ETFs and one mutual fund, expanding its portfolio construction and thematic investing lineup. The new NBI Conservative ETF Portfolio (NCNS) targets high current income with some capital appreciation, NBI Balanced ETF Portfolio (NBLD) seeks a mix of income and long-term growth, NBI Growth ETF Portfolio (NGRW) focuses on capital appreciation with some income, and NBI Equity ETF Portfolio (NEQT) is designed for long-term capital growth. All four portfolios invest primarily in a diversified mix of ETFs and ETF-series mutual funds holding fixed-income and equity securities. NBI also launched the NBI Thematic Rotation ETF (NTHM), which tracks a thematic rotation index that systematically shifts exposure among global equity themes. In addition, the firm introduced the NBI Sustainable Systematic World Equity Fund, a quantitatively managed developed-markets equity strategy focused on sustainable investing. Together, the launches provide investors with new asset-allocation, thematic, and sustainability-focused investment options.
