MUSQ Music Industry ETF to Liquidate in October

Exchange Traded Concepts Trust has approved the termination and liquidation of the MUSQ Global Music Industry Index ETF (MUSQ), expected on or about October 23, 2026. New creation orders will close on October 19, with the final trading day on NYSE Arca expected around October 20. From October 19 through the final trading day, shareholders may only be able to sell to certain broker-dealers, with no assurance of a market for shares. Secondary-market trading will then cease. Ahead of liquidation, the fund may move into cash or other liquid assets and deviate from its stated investment strategy. Remaining shareholders will receive a pro rata cash distribution, including any accrued capital gains and dividends. These distributions will be taxable events, and the fund’s final net asset value will reflect liquidation costs.
