Bosera Launches ETF Linking Hong Kong and Korean Semiconductor Stocks

Bosera Asset Management (International) has listed the Bosera HKEX KRX Semiconductor Index ETF (3516) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, becoming the first ETF to track the HKEX KRX Semiconductor Index. Introduced jointly by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing and the Korea Exchange in March, the benchmark combines Hong Kong-listed semiconductor companies eligible for Southbound Stock Connect with all constituents of the KRX Semiconductor Top 15 Index. The fund gives investors access to semiconductor companies across both markets through a single Hong Kong-listed product, broadening the options for regional chip-sector exposure. It also tracks the first co-branded index developed by the two exchanges.
