UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
MarketDesk Indices launched the MarketDesk International Momentum ETF (XUSM), an actively managed strategy targeting roughly 50–100 developed- and emerging-market stocks with strong relative momentum. Its rules-based process screens companies above $1 billion in market value for liquidity, free float and financial quality before ranking them on six-month price trends. The portfolio is refreshed monthly, with at least 80% of assets normally invested in positive-momentum securities. Frequent rebalancing is expected to result in high turnover.
