Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors has filed for two actively managed ETFs targeting energy infrastructure and power markets. The Kayne Energy Equity ETF (KEI) would invest at least 80% of assets in energy companies spanning oil, natural gas, LNG, pipelines, storage, refining and related services. The Kayne Power Equity ETF (KGRD) would similarly allocate at least 80% to power companies, including utilities, electricity generation and grids, natural gas infrastructure, nuclear, renewables and energy storage. Both funds will use fundamental analysis and valuation to select holdings and may employ options to enhance returns or manage downside risk.
