UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Hotchkis & Wiley has launched the Hotchkis & Wiley Global Value Fund (HWGV) as an ETF share class of its existing Global Value Fund, giving investors ETF access to the same portfolio and investment team. The actively managed strategy holds roughly 40–80 undervalued U.S. and international companies, with flexibility across market capitalizations and geographies. HWGV adds intraday trading and potential ETF tax efficiencies while maintaining the mutual fund’s investment approach. The launch expands the firm’s ETF lineup following HWIV and HWO in July 2026.
