UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Aura ETFs, in partnership with HANetf, has launched the Weekly World Income UCITS ETF (WEEK), billed as Europe’s first ETF designed to make weekly income distributions. The fund combines diversified global equity exposure with actively managed covered calls and call spreads to generate additional income alongside potential capital growth. Charging a 0.50% TER, WEEK enters a growing European options-based ETF market that has surpassed $11bn in assets. The strategy targets investors seeking more frequent income than traditional monthly or quarterly distributions.
