UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Guinness Atkinson Asset Management has launched an ETF share class of its long-running Global Innovators Fund, with GAIQ beginning trading on NYSE Arca on August 12. The strategy, managed in mutual fund form since 1998, holds a high-conviction, roughly equally weighted portfolio of about 30 global companies leading innovation across technology, communications, business processes and management. GAIQ provides access to the same portfolio and investment team through an ETF structure offering intraday liquidity. Existing mutual fund share classes IWIRX and GINNX will remain available.
