GraniteShares has filed for the GraniteShares Ex-China Critical Minerals ETF, an actively managed fund targeting companies involved in critical mineral supply chains outside China. The ETF will invest at least 80% of its assets in companies engaged in the exploration, mining, processing, refining, manufacturing, or recycling of minerals designated as critical by U.S. authorities, including lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite, and rare earths. Eligible companies must derive at least 50% of revenues or profits from qualifying activities or commit at least 50% of assets to them. The fund excludes companies with significant Chinese operations, ownership, or government ties, including those based in Hong Kong and Macau. Holdings will be weighted using a modified market-cap methodology, capped at 25% per company, and rebalanced at least quarterly. The ETF will concentrate more than 25% of its assets in the materials sector.
