UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Global X ETFs, Citi and OSL have launched a tokenized unit class for the Global X HSCEI Covered Call Active ETF (3416), making it Hong Kong’s first covered call ETF with blockchain-based units. Effective August 27, each digital token represents one fund unit, offering investors an alternative way to hold and transact ETF shares. OSL provides access through its SFC-licensed platform, while Citi supports custody, administration and transfer agency services. The HKD- and USD-denominated tokenized units target monthly income distributions and are available to institutional and retail investors.
