REX Files Leveraged and Non-Leveraged ETFs Tied to MLB and NHL Teams
REX has filed for an extensive lineup of Alpha Sports ETFs offering exposure to the performance of every MLB and NHL team, with both standard and 2x leveraged versions.
First Trust has filed for the FT Vest Autocallable Sector Barrier & Income ETF, an actively managed strategy seeking income and downside protection through swaps replicating autocallable yield notes. The fund would maintain at least 24 staggered synthetic contracts, each linked to SPY, QQQ and a Select Sector SPDR ETF chosen partly based on realized volatility. Contracts can generate periodic coupons when the worst-performing underlying remains above a specified barrier and automatically terminate when all three recover to or above their initial values on observation dates. At maturity, investors face the full decline of the worst-performing underlying if its downside barrier is breached.
