Dimensional Fund Advisors has merged three standalone ETFs into ETF share classes of existing multi-class funds, effective October 2, 2026. The Dimensional U.S. Core Equity 2 ETF (DFAC), U.S. Small Cap ETF (DFAS) and U.S. Targeted Value ETF (DFAT) retain their tickers but now operate as ETF classes alongside existing mutual fund shares. Dimensional says the structure should improve scale, tax efficiency and operational flexibility while enabling eligible mutual fund investors to convert into ETF shares. Existing mutual fund tickers and identifiers remain unchanged, while the ETF classes receive new CUSIPs and ISINs. The ETF classes will inherit the historical records of the acquiring funds’ institutional mutual fund classes for periods before their launch.
