UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
CSOP Asset Management has introduced a tokenised share class of its Hong Kong Dollar Money Market ETF (3053.HK), allowing investors to access the fund through blockchain-based digital tokens. The ETF invests in HKD-denominated deposits and high-quality money market instruments, offering a regulated source of on-chain yield. HSBC serves as tokenisation agent, trustee, and registrar, while OSL will exclusively support subscriptions and redemptions through its licensed virtual asset platform for six months. The launch marks a significant step in Hong Kong’s efforts to integrate traditional asset management with digital asset infrastructure and expand access to tokenised financial products.
