Capital Group has received approval from the Central Bank of Ireland to launch its first active ETFs in Europe, with four Irish-domiciled UCITS strategies expected in the first quarter of 2027. The initial lineup will include the Capital Group Global Growth Equity UCITS ETF, US Core Equity UCITS ETF, US Dividend Value UCITS ETF and Global Bond Plus UCITS ETF. The funds are intended as core portfolio building blocks and will use Capital Group’s multi-manager investment approach and fundamental research platform. The move extends an ETF business that Capital Group launched in the US in 2022 and has since grown to more than $160 billion in assets. The firm has also been expanding its European ETF team, including senior hires across distribution, product leadership and capital markets, as it prepares for the regional launch.
