UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
BNY Mellon has expanded its ETF lineup with the launch of the BNY Mellon Global Fixed Income ETF (BGFI) and BNY Mellon Multi-Sector Income ETF (BMSI), both managed by Insight North America. BGFI pursues global fixed-income opportunities across developed and emerging markets, primarily in investment-grade debt while allowing limited high-yield exposure. BMSI takes a flexible multi-sector approach, allocating across investment-grade, high-yield, securitized and emerging market bonds, with up to 65% in below-investment-grade debt. Both ETFs use active sector allocation, fundamental credit research and derivatives for risk management and portfolio positioning.
