BNY Hires Bloomberg Index Sales Head for EMEA ETF Servicing

BNY has appointed Erik Rotander as ETF segment lead for EMEA, strengthening its ETF servicing business with a senior hire from Bloomberg Index Services. Based in London, Rotander joins as a senior director after more than eight years at Bloomberg, including the past five as head of index sales and relationship management for EMEA. He previously spent seven years at Deutsche Bank and DWS, where he worked in Nordic ETF sales for Xtrackers. The move brings BNY an executive with experience spanning ETF distribution, index relationships and capital-markets infrastructure as the custodian expands its servicing capabilities for ETF issuers across Europe.
