UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
BNP Paribas Asset Management has launched four actively managed UCITS ETFs designed to expand beyond traditional market-cap exposure. Global Equity Long Short uses a factor-based long/short equity strategy to seek absolute returns with limited market beta, while Managed Futures employs a systematic CTA-style approach across futures markets to capture trends with low correlation to stocks and bonds. Equity Premium Income generates income through option-writing on major equity indices, and European Equity Buffer provides Euro Stoxx 50 exposure with a predefined downside buffer and capped upside over a one-year outcome period. The ETFs are listed on Euronext Paris, Xetra, and SIX Swiss Exchange.
