BMO Global Asset Management’s BMO AAA CLO ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management across its ZAAA, ZAAA.F and ZAAA.U unit classes. The milestone reflects the combined assets of all three classes, rather than any single ticker. The fund provides exposure to AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations, a segment BMO says is attracting interest as fixed income investors look beyond traditional bond strategies. The manager highlighted income generation and diversification as reasons investors are considering the asset class amid changing market conditions. BMO positioned the milestone as evidence of growing recognition of AAA CLOs’ potential role in portfolios and continued demand for high-quality CLO exposure. The announcement did not provide a breakdown of assets by unit class or specify how much of the growth came from net inflows.
