BlackRock plans to close and liquidate the iShares High Yield Active ETF following approval from the BlackRock ETF Trust II board. The fund will stop accepting creation and redemption orders after market close on or about August 11, 2027, with Nasdaq trading expected to halt before the market opens on August 12. Liquidation proceeds are scheduled to be distributed to shareholders around August 16, 2027. Investors may sell shares on Nasdaq until the August 11 market close, while shareholders remaining in the fund through liquidation will have their shares automatically redeemed for cash based on the fund’s net asset value. Ahead of closure, the ETF may deviate from its stated investment objective and strategy as the portfolio is prepared for liquidation.
