BlackRock Names Jonathan Dilley Head of ETF Primary Markets for EMEA

BlackRock has appointed Jonathan Dilley as head of ETF primary markets for EMEA, expanding his responsibilities within the firm’s ETF capital markets operation. Dilley rejoined BlackRock in 2022 as a senior ETF equity portfolio manager before moving to the ETF primary markets team as a director in June 2026. He previously worked at BlackRock as an ETF portfolio manager and spent more than three years at HSBC Asset Management as a senior fund manager. His promotion follows a broader reshuffle of BlackRock’s EMEA ETF markets leadership, including Alexandre Roubaud’s appointment as head of EMEA ETF markets earlier this year. The changes come after former EMEA ETF capital markets head Sander Van Nugteren left BlackRock and later joined BNP Paribas Asset Management to lead ETF capital markets and white-label solutions.
