UBS Enters Active Equity ETF Market With Global Income Strategy
UBS Asset Management has launched its first active equity ETF in Europe with the UBS Global Equity Income Plus UCITS ETF (FGZJ).
Baillie Gifford has introduced the Baillie Gifford U.S. Equity Growth ETF (BGUS), an actively managed fund focused on identifying high-quality U.S. companies with strong long-term growth potential. The ETF typically holds 30–50 large-cap growth stocks, selected through bottom-up research, with the flexibility to invest in IPOs, depositary receipts, and other equity ETFs. Managed relative to the Russell 1000 Growth Index, BGUS is designed for long-term investors, targeting holding periods of at least five years while incorporating material environmental, social, and governance factors into its investment process.
