ARK Files ETF Targeting Brain Interfaces and Surgical Robotics

ARK Investment Management has filed to introduce the ARK Brain Computer Interfaces & Surgical Robotics ETF, an actively managed fund targeting advances in neurotechnology and robotic medical procedures. The strategy will invest in companies developing brain-computer interfaces that establish direct communication between the nervous system and external devices, including computers, robotic limbs and medical implants. It will also target manufacturers of robotic surgical systems used in orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and other procedures. The fund expects to obtain exposure primarily through total return swaps, alongside direct equity and potentially private investments.
