Aptus Files for Nasdaq-100 ETF Targeting 5% to 12% Annual Distributions

Aptus Capital Advisors has filed for the Aptus Nasdaq-100 Enhanced Yield ETF (JUCQ), an actively managed fund combining Nasdaq-100 equity exposure with a derivatives-based strategy designed to enhance total returns. The ETF will allocate 80% to 95% of its assets to Nasdaq-100 constituents, generally replicating the index, while investing the remainder in total return swaps implementing systematic trading strategies. These swaps may use options and futures linked to equity, fixed income, and volatility indexes, including the VIX. JUCQ will target relatively stable monthly distributions equivalent to an annualized rate of 5% to 12%, funded through portfolio dividends, capital appreciation, and income from government securities. Distributions are not guaranteed and may include a return of capital. The fund will be non-diversified and is expected to have significant technology sector exposure.
