ALPS Disruptive Technologies ETF Switches to Bloomberg Frontier Tech Index

ALPS has announced that its ALPS Disruptive Technologies ETF (DTEC) will switch from the Indxx Disruptive Technologies Index to the Bloomberg Frontier Tech Focus Equal Weight Index, effective December 28, 2026. The new benchmark targets companies across six emerging technology themes: innovative healthcare, geothermal energy, advanced air mobility, quantum computing, humanoid robotics, and lab-grown food. Constituents will be selected using Bloomberg Intelligence assessments of revenue exposure and competitive positioning, with a preference for companies demonstrating stronger thematic exposure. The index will hold at least 20 stocks where sufficient eligible securities are available, use equal weighting, and rebalance quarterly. The fund expects to begin adjusting its holdings on December 28 to reflect the new benchmark.
