ProShares has filed for the ProShares AI Hyperscaler Bond ETF, designed to track investment-grade corporate bonds issued by major companies driving global AI infrastructure spending. Its VettaFi index currently targets Microsoft, Alphabet, Oracle, Amazon and Meta, holding their fixed-rate, U.S. dollar-denominated bonds with at least one year to maturity. Eligible bonds must carry investment-grade ratings from both S&P and Moody’s and are weighted by market value, with the portfolio reevaluated monthly. The ETF may hold bonds directly or use derivatives such as swaps to obtain index exposure, while cash linked to derivatives may be invested in Treasuries and other money-market instruments.
